Check Out Yakuza Kiwami’s Trailer With A Remade Main Theme

Yakuza Kiwami is an upcoming PlayStation 4 remake of the first Yakuza game on PS2. In addition to new scenarios, mini-games, systems, and enhanced looks, the game is getting a “reborn” version of its main theme “Receive You” by musician Koshi Inaba.

The above is a look at the first trailer for Yakuza Kiwami, but with an extra sample of the Receive You theme redone by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Koshi Inaba, who is said to be a big fan of the series. The original song had English lyrics, but Inaba’s version adds a twist with Japanese lyrics, this time around.

Yakuza Kiwami will release in Japan on January 21, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
