Ys: Memories of Celceta is getting a new and enhanced release for PS4, titled Ys: Memories of Celceta – Kai, next month in Japan. Falcom shared a look at its opening animation.

The PS4 version of the game is a full-HD remaster that runs at 60fps, with improved high-definition background music and several control elements borrows from Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana to have it run better on the console.

The game will be available for 3,980 yen for the physical version and 3,500 yen for digital. First-print copies include a reprint of the rare album,“The Collected Ys Music of Ancient and Modern Times.”

Ys: Memories of Celceta – Kai releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan on May 16, 2019. The game is currently available on PlayStation Vita and PC.
