It has been a while since Virtual Console titles have been released, but this week we have two of them. The Nintendo Wii U has received China Warrior and Detana Twin Bee. In addition, the Nintendo Switch’s ACA Neo Geo library grows with Blue’s Journey.

China Warrior first appeared on the TurboGrafx-16 in 1987. In this side-scrolling beat’em up, players help Wang defeat the Dark Emperor and his minions. This involves kicking and punching through four stages, each one possessing three bosses.  You can find it on the Nintendo Wii U eShop for $5.99.

Detana Twin Bee is another game that appeared on the TurboGrafx-16, albeit in 1992. This shoot’em up appeared in arcades prior to that. In this sequel to Twinbee, Twinbee and Winbee must go through six stages to save the planet Meru and its queen, Melora, from Iva’s invaders. It can be played alone or cooperatively with another player. You can find it on the Nintendo Wii U eShop for $5.99.

ACA Neo Geo Blue’s Journey first launched on the Neo Geo in 1991. In this platformer, Blue is attempting to stop the Daruma Empire from overtaking Raguy. The game has branching stages, as well as an option that allows a second player to be Princess Fa. It is $7.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
