A black mage Chocobo? It’s possible in Chocobo's Dungeon: Toki Wasure No Meikyuu. Square-Enix is incorporating the job system into a dungeon crawler, which sounds like a solid concept. Two jobs have been revealed so far the black mage and white mage. However, Square-Enix has not mentioned what abilities these job classes get. The “winter” could mean 2008, but since 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of the Chocobo game series in Japan this year seems like a better launch window. Also there is a new web page dedicated to the series of Chocobo games, chocobo.com.
