Broccoli is taking another step forward with their series of Game Books, which are a mix of visual novels and simple games. Their first work was Sword World 2.0 Game Book DS, which was based on a tabletop RPG. Now, Broccoli is taking that formula and applying it to Chrome Shelled Regios.

The light novel turned manga to anime series will become a Broccoli game book next year. Chrome Shelled Regios Game Book DS will have an original story set in the college city of Zuellni. Players control Layfon Alseif, the series protagonist, in Broccoli’s game book too.
Details about the “game” part haven’t been outlined yet. Just for reference, Sword World 2.0 had a dice rolling RPG-like combat system.
