Chrono Cross Still Sailing To Game Archives In Japan

Back in December, the 20,000th person missed failwhale and clicked follow on the Square Enix Members Twitter account. Shinji Hashimoto, Front Mission Evolved producer and Twittermaniac, celebrated by announcing Chrono Cross would be re-released on the PlayStation Store in Japan.

While other Game Archives releases like Final Fantasy V are coming this week, Serge’s dimension travelling story still hasn’t appeared in Japan. What’s up? Hashimoto didn’t set a date, but promised fans on Twitter he would be able to share information about Chrono Cross next week.

Chrono Cross has not been announced for North America at this time, but most Game Archives titles tend to show up as PsOne Classics a few months down the road.
