Chrono Trigger Anniversary Celebrated With Music Stream

Square Enix has announced that it will launch a live stream featuring the soundtrack of Chrono Trigger. The stream will appear on YouTube to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the game, which first appeared in Japan for the Super Famicom (SNES) on March 11, 1995.

This stream is slated to run non-stop for around 33 hours. However, take note that once the stream has ended, Square Enix does not plan to keep its archive.

The Chrono Trigger anniversary music live stream will launch simultaneously worldwide at the following times, depending on the time zone:

  • US Pacific (PDT): March 10, 2026, 8 PM until March 12, 2026, 5 AM
  • US Eastern (EDT): March 10, 2026, 11 PM until March 12, 2026, 8 AM
  • United Kingdom (GMT): March 11, 2026, 3 AM until March 12, 2026, 12 PM
  • Japan (JST): March 11, 2026, 12 PM until March 12, 2026, 9 PM

Square Enix had formally published the Chrono Trigger soundtrack on Spotify, based on the Nintendo DS version of the game. The company also more recently released Piano Soundscape and Orchestral arrangement albums based on the same soundtrack.

Following the inaugural release on the SNES, Chrono Trigger also had ports on the PlayStation and Nintendo DS. For ongoing platforms, Chrono Trigger is readily available on iOS, Android, and PC via Steam.
