That’s the premise of Trick x Logic. You help Yoshikawa by perusing the Akasha in search for keywords. While only truth is written in the Akasha, criminals can lie and it’s up to you to investigate by using found keywords. Once you come up with a resolution you write who, when, where, how, and why the crime was committed.

Chunsoft, a studio known for sound novels and the critically acclaimed 428, is the game’s developer. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan picked up the publishing rights.

Trick x Logic will be sold in stores as two separate seasons. Trick x Logic Season 1 has files one through four and Trick x Logic Season 2 has five through ten. Each game costs 2,980 yen ($33). Both seasons are slated for release this year.
