More details about Ciel no Surge are out and Dengeki PlayStation explained how the game flows. When you turn on the game you’ll see Ion, the amnesiac girl you care for, hanging out in her room. Ciel no Surge is tied to the Vita’s internal clock so Ion’s actions depend on what time it is. Players can talk to Ion and build a relationship with her.
The goal of Ciel no Surge is to restore Ion’s memories, which you’ll do in the Dream World. As Ion’s memories are restored through event scenes in this other world the mystery behind La Ciel will unfold. The bond you make with Ion affects the memory restoration process.
Ciel no Surge has other characters Ion can interact with when she leaves her house. This week, Degenki PlayStation focused on a group of three kids. Tabo is a boy with red hair and the first person Ion meets. He is the leader of the trio of children in the article and his parents own the general store. Plum is a young boy with blonde hair and glasses. He’s polite and interested in astronomy. Cass is a girl with silver hair from a wealthy family and is described as tsundere. The children can see Terephanken, an imaginary creature that looks like a dragon.
Ciel no Surge comes out on April 26 for PlayStation Vita.
