Clannad Coming To North American PlayStation 4s In June 2018

Prototype has announced a release window for the English version of Clannad. The game will be released in North America before June 2018 ends. It will be a PlayStation Store exclusive.

In addition, Clannad will be coming to the PlayStation Store in Europe. However, a release window has not yet been announced for that region. Prototype noted that it will provide an update when it is pinned down.

Clannad is a visual novel from Key. People follow Tomoya Okazaki, a delinquent who is actually not a bad guy. After meeting Nagisa Furukawa, a young woman who has to repeat a year of school due to being ill, he ends up helping her reform the school’s drama club. This leads to him also meeting Kyou Fujibayashi, Kotomi Ichinose, Tomoyo Sakagami and Fuko Ibuki. The North American PlayStation 4 release will allow people to choose between English and Japanese text.

Clannad is immediately available in English for PCs. The PlayStation 4 version will be available digitally and physically in Japan on June 14, 2018, and it also includes the ability to switch between English and Japanese text.
