A Clearer Look At Drakengard 3’s DLC Episodes

In addition to Nier costumes and funny hats for your dragon, Drakengard 3 also has six downloadable stories. The twist is in five of them you play as Zero’s sisters, fellow Intoners you hunt down in the main story. The DLC episodes are actually prequels told as memories, but earned gold can be carried over to the main game. Square Enix says players will get more gold in the DLC episodes. Players will also be able to see new weapon stories for each of the sisters’ weapons. Zero has an extra story too that explains how she met Mikhal, the dragon that travels with her.

Square Enix has not said how the DLC stories will be released in the West other than the story with One. That’s included with the Drakengard 3 limited edition. Japan will get the Drakengard 3 DLC starting on March 6 and the episode with Two will be a freebie. Drakengard 3 comes out on May 20 in North America.
