In an official PlayStation Blog interview, Code Vein II Producer Keita Iizuka and Director Hiroshi Yoshimura confirmed there are multiple endings to the game. There will also be a New Game+ option unlocked after beating the game for the first time. This will play into the fact that we will make choices as we play that can alter history.

Iizuka primarily spoke about the Code Vein II multiple endings. He noted that there will be times when our ally Lou will help us head into the past. The way the producer discussed it made it seem like maybe we won’t need to start a new game to see a different possibility. Iizuka said, “When you intervene in the past and return to the present, relationships with characters or the world itself will change. The game has multiple endings, so even after reaching one ending, you can go back in time to alter it.”

As for the Code Vein New Game+ option, we only have a few confirmed details about it. It does exist. The levels for characters will carry over. Keita Iizuka also mentioned “certain progress” will be maintained, but we don’t know if that applies to abilities or equipment.

Part of the interview also reiterated that Code Vein II can be a standalone experience and a “new setting.” Director Hiroshi Yoshimura did note some things will still be familiar and reference the first title. He mentioned, “That said, it’s not an entirely separate world either; fans will notice familiar items, weapons, gifts, and other small callbacks scattered throughout the game.”

Code Vein II will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 30, 2026, and the Character Creator Demo will debut on January 23, 2026.
