Coded Arms blasting its way to the Playstation 3

While Coded Arms for the PSP may not have been the hit that Konami hoped for they aren’t dropping the series. They are planning to continue the brand on the Playstation 3 with Code Arms Assault. Code Arms Assault goes for the evil corporation bioterrorism story, but players probably won’t pay much attention to the story with all the explosions in the game. Environments are fully destructible; you can use debris as a weapon or a distraction and find cover in your surroundings. Coded Arms Assault has two types of online play. Cooperative gameplay supports up to four players or take on up to sixteen players head to head. The game utilizes the Unreal Engine and looks pretty sharp, see more screenshots and the trailer after the jump. Could this be competition for Halo 3 in 2007?
