Collecting new Espers in Final Fantasy VI Advance

So far four new espers have been revealed in Final Fantasy VI Advance. Gilgamesh and Leviathan appear from Final Fantasy V. Diablos from Final Fantasy VIII and a Cactuar can also be obtained. If you want to get new espers you have to do side events. Leviathan’s quest means heading to sea with Locke who hates ships. After you run into the giant sea creature the party can fight the monster and if you win you will be rewarded with a piece of magicite. Since each esper is going to have a different quest, Final Fantasy VI Advance should be longer than the original game. There is also an extra dungeon with dragons to face. Similar to the final dungeon the EX dungeon uses three parties working together to complete it. Instead of adding altered gameplay mechanics, the extras look like a fan novelty. FFV Advance had a few new classes and it IV Advance changed the most with the ability to use other party members at the end of the game. Hopefully there is more to FFVI Advance that we don’t know, but as of now the extras don’t look particularly amazing.
