Since the PSP was introduced a handful of Korean studios took the plunge into console development. Right now the PSP has the most native Korean games, but Microsoft is beginning to get in on the action too. At South Korea’s X07 conference they brought two domestic games: Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom from Blueside and Superstar, a music game from Studio Nine.
Wait a second, Studio Nine? They are one of the bigger, console-centric South Korean developers. Their past works are mostly rhythm games like Pump it Up’s PSP renditions and an English trainer. Good on Microsoft for working with them, the Xbox 360 really needs more music/rhythm games.
