Compile Heart’s Next Galpagos RPG Is Not Fairy Fencer F 2 Or Mugen Souls

Compile Heart previously announced that they’re working on their second title under the Galapagos RPG label, which focuses on developing RPGs specifically for Japanese customers. The latest teaser trailer reveals a little more on the upcoming game.

While the teaser trailer doesn’t show much, it displays key phrases like “the world of despair” and “to the new frontier”. It also mentions that the game is not Fairy Fencer F 2 or Mugen Souls. Compile Heart also showed the “ *ω* ” emoticon in the trailer, which was previously hinted as being one of the keywords for the game.

The video ends with a strange Galapagos RPG mascot character evolve and repeat “PS”. It seems to indicate “3” but considering that it repeats it four times, there’s speculation that it could also mean PlayStation 4. It looks like more will be revealed about the game on May 6, 2014.
