Contest: Happy “Halo”ween Pumpkin Carving

Dear Siliconera readers,

It feels like every other video game site has a gallery of awesome video game pumpkins. Alas we don’t. I’ve never carved a good pumpkin in my life, so it’s not going to kick off with a creation from me. Instead I'm opening the task to all of you out there. Please send us your original carvings of Sora, Space Invaders, Hudson Horstachio and other video game characters to [email protected] with the subject line "Happy “Halo”ween" before October 30 12PM PST.

Once all the deadline is up in everyone will be thrown into a massive poll on October 31 and you will pick who will win the grand prize, Halo 3: Legendary Edition (you know the most expensive version of Halo 3 out there). Your pumpkin doesn’t have to be related to Halo to win, but turning it into a wearable Spartan helmet probably wouldn’t hurt. Also to make sure no one is cheating you must have a piece of paper, post-it note, a Siliconera t-shirt or something in the photo that says Siliconera on it to be eligible. We’ll be keeping our eyes out for photoshopped entries, which will be disqualified.
