Capcom has revealed DWN.094 Cook Man in Mega Man: Dual Override. This character will appear as one of the eight Robot Master bosses in the upcoming 12th mainline entry of the classic Mega Man series.

The company has also published a couple of screenshots teasing how the boss battle scene against Cook Man will look like in Dual Override. The stage will have a massive kitchen theme, and the boss fight against Cook Man will take place on a large cooking pan. In addition to the kung fu fighting style and the chained knife as the primary weapon, Cook Man will also be able to throw other cooking utensils like ladles.

The Japanese press release also added a background behind Cook Man’s rampage. It explains that the robot has a desire to have his cooking style recognized by society, but the desire gets out of control and causes him to run amok in his large restaurant.

Cook Man is the fourth of eight Robot Master bosses revealed for Mega Man: Dual Override. Capcom has previously revealed Twinkle Girl, Jet Man, and Tank Man in order. The remaining half of the main boss roster is still yet to be known as of Cook Man’s reveal, and that also includes one that will result from the public boss design contest.

Mega Man: Dual Override will be available worldwide for Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2027.
