Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop Releases This May In North America

Recommended Videos

Back in February, Rising Star Games announced that Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop would be headed to the west. Now, a release date has been revealed for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS title and latest addition to the Cooking Mama series. Sweet Shop will get a retail release on May 16th and a digital release just two days later on May 18th.

The title will feature over 60 recipes to create via 160 minigames which will employ the 3DS’s microphone and stylus.

Here’s an official description from Rising Star Games:

“Create a wide assortment of delicious looking sweets and puddings, and serve customers in the shop to keep them happy. The more sweets you create and complete, the more your shop expands. You may even trigger a special event!”

Sweet Shop will also feature a competitive mode in which 2 to 4 players can challenge each other to a very sweet show of baking skills.

Cooking Mama: Sweet Shop will release for the Nintendo 3DS on May 16th and digitally on May 18th in North America.
