The latest Nintendo Switch Lite model has been confirmed for more regions, ensuring worldwide availability. The Coral Pink Switch Lite will appear in Australia and Europe on April 24, 2020. Nintendo’s German branch announced it via a tweet, while Australia outlets like EB Games have already begun taking preorders for the AU$329.95 system. [Thanks, Reddit!]
As a reminder, the Coral Pink Switch Lite is a standard version of the system in a new color. It doesn’t include any games or special accessories, like say the Animal Crossing: New Horizons model. It also is only playable in handheld mode, as it doesn’t come with a dock, and isn’t compatible with games that would require motion controls or the Joy-Cons to be disconnected.
These are the last regions to be confirmed for the Coral Pink Switch Lite. Everything kicked off with an Asian release announced for March 20, 2020. (It is BFFs with Animal Crossing: New Horizons in Japan.) That same day in February 2020, it was confirmed for North America. It will appear there starting on April 3, 2020.
The Coral Pink Switch will come to Japan on March 20, 2020, North America on April 3, 2020, and Australia and Europe on April 24, 2020.
