Cosmos X2: a shmup for your DS

Alten 8 announced they are going to publish Cosmos X2 an old school side scrolling shoot ‘em up for the Nintendo DS. The top screen is where the action is and the bottom screen is used for a large radar screen and a shield meter. It doesn’t look impressive at all, but since the shmup genre is severely under represented on the Nintendo DS its worth mentioning. Besides Nanostray and Twinbee/Gradius on Konami’s Arcade Collection there isn’t too much selection out there.
