Not to be outdone by yesterday’s Nintendo DS conference. Sony of Japan announced the Playstation Spot, which is going up in Ginza on October 8th (that’s this Saturday folks). Here PSP owners can bring their PSPs and download demos of games. The games you can check out are:

It’s good to know that at least there are some games worth checking out in the future for the PSP and you can test them for free… if you’re in Japan. Right now there is no word if there are plans for a similar station in the US or Europe, but we’ll keep you guys posted.
