Nintendo confirmed Yoshi will return for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. title for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. One change is Yoshi stands completely upright in this game.

The egg throwing dinosaur is joined by Sheik who is a selectable character and Zero Suit Samus. Charizard was also promoted to a playable character on his own instead of one of Pokémon Trainer’s minions. Greninja from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y is new to the Smash series.
