The Nippon Ichi dungeon crawler Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain launched last June in Japan, and it was revealed in this week’s Dengeki PlayStation that it’s headed to PS4 in Japan on September 28, 2017. [Thanks, Hachima.]
It’s mostly a port of the PS Vita version of the dungeon crawler, but the highly demanded “Facet Visual” is being added. In case you forgot, “Facets” are the classes for doll soldiers used in the game. The number of visuals you can pick at the start of the game has increased to three types of visuals.
- Theatrical Star: Dancer. Low in attack, but using dances and magic bells she’s able to help allies using status attacks.
- Aster Knight: Wields a two-handed weapon called the Old Tower Spear. It excels at both offensive and defensive play, and is excellent at prolonged battles.
- Mad Rapter: Wields a bow called Hyakka Yumi (Flowers Bow) to fire magic shots as a hunter. It can also deal massive damage from the backlines.
The limited edition version that was rare at the time on PS Vita will be revived for the PS4 version, and it’ll include a special box, original tarot card, and soundtrack to go with it.
Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain releases in Japan on September 28, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
