Players act as a psychiatrist, interrogating the patients of the deceased Dr Dekker to help treat them while figuring out which of them is a murderer in FMV mystery game The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker.
Players won’t be relying on in-game questions, but rather will be typing their own. The developers have created hundreds of potential answers should players be on the right track, as well as several ways of telling them that they’re not asking the right things.
Players will be interrogating multiple patients, and with varied endings and a randomly-chosen murder, it will be difficult to say who the killer is. These patients also have their own horrific issues, and the player is able to help them come to terms with their problems with the right questions as well.
The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is set to release in December of 2016, and a Steam Greenlight campaign has begun to secure a place on Steam upon release.
