Set in Shibuya, Chunsoft’s visual novel 428 follows five characters locked in the district after a kidnapping. Players switch characters and perspectives ranging from Shinya, a detective, to Tama, a person dressed in a cat mascot costume. Together these characters unknowingly work together to solve the mystery behind the blockade.

428 was first released for Wii where Famitsu awarded it a perfect score. Less than a year later, Spike released ports for PSP and PlayStation 3.
428 is coming to iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, reports Famitsu. Chunsoft will self-publish this version, but have not set a release date for it yet.
