Crystal Quest multiplies and Poker Smash(es) on Xbox Live

This article is over 17 years old and may contain outdated information

Poker Smash is a casino-style twist on the popular match three puzzle game formula. Players swap cards into either horizontal or vertical poker hands to clear cards, occasionally with lightning bolts crashing to the game board. On paper, Poker Smash doesn’t sound enthralling. Perhaps, it’s one of those games you have to play first? Microsoft thinks so and they are backing the launch of Poker Smash by giving out an Xbox 360 Elite console. To get entered in the drawing you need to play the full or trial version of Poker Smash between February 5 @ 12:00 AM PST to February 13 @ 11:59 PM PST and be a resident of the USA or Canada. While Microsoft is only giving away a single Xbox 360 Elite other lucky Poker Smash player will net Microsoft Point Cards, possibly worth the 800 Microsoft Points required for purchasing Poker Smash.

Also on Wednesday, Crystal Quest is getting a free update that adds score multiplying crystals. Stainless Games released Crystal Quest on the Xbox 360 way back in 2006, which makes this update almost two years in the making. Kudos to Stainless Games for giving fans of Crystal Quest a free incentive to revisit the game.
