Crystar to Release on Nintendo Switch in Japan in February 2022

Crystar will officially release for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on February 24, 2022. A standard and limited edition will be available to purchase. The standard edition will cost 5,775 yen, or $50. The limited edition will cost 7,975 yen, or $69, and come with a special box and an 80 page artbook. The Nintendo Switch version of Crystar will also come with DLC costumes. [Thanks, Gamer!]

A total of 30 DLC costumes will be immediately available in the Nintendo Switch version of the game. This includes costumes that were paid DLC for the PlayStation 4 version of Crystar. Some of these costumes will have special in-game effects that players can use, such as a costume that will lower the price of in-game items. Another costume will change the rate at which enemies will appear.

Previously, Furyu released the 3D models for protagonist Rei Hatada and her room to celebrate the second anniversary of the game. These 3D models were available for a limited time.

Crystar will release for the Nintendo Switch in Japan on February 24, 2022. It is immediately available worldwide for the PlayStation 4. There is currently no word if the Nintendo Switch version of the game will receive a Western release.
