Dex, the 2D cyberpunk RPG, is heading to consoles and it’s being enhanced for the occasion. It was released for PC earlier this year.

Specifically, it’ll be heading to PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and Wii U. The enhancements include manual saves, improved AI, revamped AR/cyberspace modes, improved gamepad support, and support for German, French, and Hungarian. These will also come to the PC version once the console versions have launched.

Dex is designed as a tribute to classic ‘90s adventure games. It focuses on non-linear play inside the futuristic city of Harbor Prime. There, you can meet the inhabitants, face the city’s challenges, roam neon-lit streets, and augment your character with skills and implants.

The overarching story of the game involves an “enigmatic AI striving to reach the Singularity, an event in which artificial intelligence will surpass that of humans and all bets about the future will be off.”
