With Princess Connect Re:Dive being touted by Cygames as an “Anime RPG”, it should come as no surprise that Cygames announced that the smartphone app is getting its own anime. The game is set on the continent of Astraea, and is a sequel to the original Princess Connect. The smartphone app launched last year, and recently celebrated its 1st anniversary, where this announcement was made. The anime is set to be produced by Cygames Pictures, who is also animating the currently airing Rage of Bahamut: Manaria Friends. Check out the trailer for the Princess Connect Re:Dive anime below:
