We already knew that Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion would get paid DLC, given the Digital Deluxe included post-launch cosmetics and an expansion pack, and now Marvelous confirmed its free update roadmap after launch. There will be new additions appearing throughout October through December 2025. New details about launch DLC, including two free hairstyles and two free emotes, also appeared alongside two trailers.

First, the Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion update roadmap included both the free items and the paid Into the Abyss DLC expansion that is part of the more expensive editions of the game. More items start to rollout in October 2025. That starts with an additional boss fight and cosmetic on October 2, 2025. Initial teaser images showed how both looks. On October 16, 2025, there will be another free patch. That will include two new cosmetic looks, with one being a suit, and two more bosses. Sometime in November 2025, the paid expansion pack will appear. That can be purchased separately if you didn’t get a special edition. Finally, three mystery bosses will be added for free in December 2025.

Here’s the roadmap image:

As for the things out now, we can all grab the Fist Pump and Roar emotes and Giant Mohawk and Punk hairstyles. These are an actual additional download and not added via an automatic update or patch. In terms of paid launch DLC, there’s a $4.99 Special Equipment Set with Bahamut Arsenal Skin, Beguiling Outer Suit, and Victorious Gleam Laser Blade, a $3.99 Special SFC Weapon Set with six types of guns, and a $5.99 Arsenal Skin Set with Crusader, Grosse Feier, Rabbit 11, Muramasa, and Prototype Arsenal skins.

The trailers basically offer more information now that the game is out. One is the general launch trailer:

The other covers the Sovereign Axiom Special Facilities dungeons.

Daemon x Machina: Titanic Scion is available for the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, and both free updates and paid DLC will appear in the coming weeks and months.
