Apart from the controller’s surprsingly large size that is meant to make it easier to hold the Switch while making it less tiring, it has a D-pad and also has a special red and black design, and an X button with a special look.

Rather than at the back, the L/R buttons are found at the back of the controller. Meanwhile, like some other Hori controllers, this one also has the Assign function where you are able to assign buttons to inputs however you like. It also comes with an autofire option.

Like some of Hori’s Switch Joy-Cons, this one is meant to be used in portable mode only, and only works while connected to the Nintendo Switch itself. It also doesn’t have gyro, accelerometer, HD Rumble or NFC. The controllers themselves are 110mm x 28mm x 65mm large.

Daemon x Machina releases for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2019. Check out its latest trailer from E3 2019 here, and more info on changes made since the game’s demo here.
