Dangan-Ronpa’s Colorful Cast Of Characters

Spike’s lightning speed logic game Dangan-ronpa takes place in a high school where you’re guaranteed success if you graduate, but the only way to make the grade is through murder. Makoto, the main character wearing a black hoodie, breaks this rule and helps solve crimes instead of committing them. He’ll match wits and point out contradictions in bullet battles.

He’s one of fifteen students pictured above. Let’s see there’s a timid looking school girl, a bancho (Spike also made the Kenka Bancho series), and a muscle man in a sailor suit. The black and white bear is Mono-bear, the school’s twisted principal.
