Dark Souls Collector’s Edition Coming In October, Same Price As A Standard Game

Namco Bandai Games America confirmed Dark Souls and a Dark Souls Collector’s Edition will be released in October. Similar to the Stop Importing It edition of Demon’s Souls, the Dark Souls Collector’s Edition includes an art book, mini-strategy guidebook, the game’s soundtrack via a digital download, and a making of Dark Souls video in a metal case. The art book has illustrations of environments and characters.

If you’re planning to pick up the game at launch just go straight for the limited edition. The Dark Souls Collector’s Edition will retail for $59.99, the same price as a vanilla game.

 

In From Software’s second networked dark fantasy game, players will search for the Eternal Flame of Life before it burns out to dispel the curse of undead. That’s what plagues the main character and allows him to face hordes of monsters like the critter below without worrying about death.
