Dark Souls Monster Has A Lion’s Head, Eagle Wings, And Scorpion’s Tail

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition and the upcoming Artorias of the Abyss DLC adds a new area and introduces new monsters to the game. From Software shared a few screenshots of the threats – like a lion-headed mausoleum guardian with goat legs and a scorpion tail.

Players will also run into a hand trap that grabs players and a black dragon. All of these monsters are just a warm up for Artorias who you’ll cross swords with. Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition comes out on August 24 and will be released as PS3/Xbox 360 DLC later this year.
