Dark Souls: Remastered Network Test Takes Place May 11-12 In The West, This Summer For Switch

Following the announcement of a network test for Dark Souls: Remastered in Japan, Bandai Namco announced that the West will get it on PS4 and Xbox One on the same dates, May 11-12, 2018.

 

during the network test, players will get to summon co-op partners and invade other players’ games. Here’s the schedule for North America:

  • May 11 6:00pm PDT to 11:59pm PDT
  • May 12 6:00pm PDT to 11:59pm PDT

 

The Dark Souls: Remastered Network Test client will be available to download starting May 1 through 11:59pm PDT on May 8. Keep in mind that Xbox Gold subscription is required to participate in the Xbox One version. After May 8, the network test client will be removed, and no new participants will be accepted.

 

The Nintendo Switch version was recently delayed so its testing will come a little later. According to Bandai Namco it’ll be available “later this summer” before the release of the game and the Solaire amiibo.

 

Dark Souls Remastered releases on May 25, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version releases in Summer 2018.
