Darkest Dungeon II is a cosmic horror-roguelite where you direct a party of adventurers through a ruined world in a stagecoach, before engaging in turn-based battles and purchasing upgrades between runs. The PS4 and PS5 versions promise to make use of the Dualsense controller’s vibration features, simulating the heartbeat of wounded characters or your wagon going over bumps on the road.

As well as the base game, the Binding Blade DLC pack will also be available at launch as part of a discounted bundle. This DLC adds 2 new classes, the Crusader and the Duelist, as well as a new questline, trinkets and a mini-boss.

Darkest Dungeon II originally came out for PC back in May, 2023, and has received several updates and a DLC pack since. The game is also set to receive a new stand-alone campaign mode sometime this year.

Darkest Dungeon II will become available on Playstation 4 and 5 on July 15, 2024. The game is currently available on the PC.
