Apart from Date A Live IV, another anime based on its spin-off with breakout character Kurumi Tokisaki as the protagonist, Date A Bullet, is in the works. Date A Bullet got its anime announcement in October 2019, after a tease in September about a new confirmed anime. With IV, the series has now reached its sixth animated outing.

On the image provided for Date A Live IV, we can see that the anime will likely cover the events of Volumes 12-14, which feature Nia Honjou and Mukuro Hoshimiya respectively. During those three volumes, Shido also finds himself losing control of the Spirit powers sealed inside of him, which manifests in something near a complete personality shift.

While no trailer has been released for Date A Live IV, you can watch Date A Bullet‘s trailer below:

The latest anime from the series was the third season by J.C. Staff, which aired from January to March 2019.
