Indie studio HuniePot has released its dating sim, puzzle game, and lite RPG HuniePop for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
You can purchase it for $10 on the developer’s website, or for $9.95 on MangaGamer.com, or for $9.99 on Steam ($7.99 during its launch period). You may already have it if you were one of the people who backed its Kickstarter back in 2013.
HuniePop has you being trained by a magic love fairy Kyu in dating women after you tried to woo her and failed. There are eight girls who you can dress up with new outfits and hairstyles when dating them. They’ll also dress down after the date if it goes well.
While the game is presented as a visual novel, its dating segments are played as match-3 puzzles with upgradeable stats, and special dating gifts that affect the puzzle in different ways.
HuniePop also has thousands of lines of fully-voiced dialog, over 250 items to unlock including food, drinks, gifts, and accessories, as well as over 20 hand-painted locations with a working night and day cycle.
