Both good and bad announcements accompanied the launch of Dead or Alive 6 Last Round, as someone named Minato will join the fight as DLC and arcade stick controller PS5 and Xbox Series X problems came up. The former came up in the launch trailer as a teaser. Team Ninja confirmed the peripheral issue in a social media post after.

In the case of Minato, we know pretty much nothing about this Dead or Alive 6 Last Round DLC character.  Only official art of the fighter was teased at the 1:27 mark of the launch trailer. It started out with the individual in a school uniform that matches the one Honoka wears, suggesting the two are classmates. A more casual outfit appeared after that. That add-on launches in Summer 2026.

In the case of the controller issue, Team Ninja noted that the Dead or Alive 6 Last Round arcade stick keeps someone from using one of those kinds of controllers to fight on the PS5 or Xbox Series X. It noted it is aware of what caused the problem. A fix will be prepared and released to ensure those peripherals can be used.

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round is available for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC, there’s no word on when the arcade stick controllers patch will come to the PS5 and Xbox Series X, and Minato will join the fight as DLC in Summer 2026.
