Dead or Alive Xtreme 3’s Contest To Decide On Its Nine Characters Starts Today

Koei Tecmo announced that they’re developing Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. So far, they’ve revealed that nine of its heroines will make it into the game based on a popularity contest of downloaded character themes. The official website recently opened for the game and contest.

The official website lists the two titles as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune for PlayStation 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus for PlayStation Vita. The games will have nine heroines from the game, and each download of their character themes on the Japanese PlayStation store will count as a vote.

You can check out there characters on the website’s voting page, and they’re the 15 following characters below:

  • Kasumi
  • Ayane
  • Hitomi
  • Lei Fang
  • Kokoro
  • Helena
  • Christie
  • Lisa
  • Tina
  • Mila
  • Momiji
  • Rachel
  • Marie Rose
  • Nyotengu
  • Honoka

The top 9 characters that get their themes downloaded will be in Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune and Venus. The number one most downloaded character will get a special costume for the first-print bonus of the PlayStation 4 version of the game, while the second most voted character will get the first-print bonus costume for the PlayStation Vita version.

The popularity contest voting begins today, and will end at midnight of September 10th in Japan. The winners will be announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show.
