Right before Tokyo Game Show started, Square Enix unveiled Lord of Apocalypse a successor to Lord of Arcana and a new game in the Lord of series. Access Games developed Lord of Arcana for PSP and Deadly Premonition designer Hidetaka Suehiro better known as "Swery65" announced he’s the director of Lord of Apocalypse.

Lord of Apocalypse will be created by Access Games and Square Enix for PSP and PlayStation Vita. The game is a Vita launch title slated for December 17 in Japan. So far, Lord of Apocalypse has not been announced for North America or Europe. Although, Lord of Arcana received an international release.
