Following yesterday’s announcement of Death end re;Quest 2 for PS4, we got more details on the game from this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.] The story of Death end re;Quest 2 revolves around three girls living in a girls dorm. They find themselves in a mysterious phenomena when boarding students begin to disappear one by one. The three main girls are:
- Mai Higashiyama (CV: Chiwa Saito)
- Rotten Dollheart (CV: Madoka Asahina)
- Liliana Piata (CV: Manaka Iwami)
Shiina Ninomiya, Summer Life, and Lydia from the first Death end re;Quest will make an appearance, although no further information was shared about that. The setting is a place called “Liz Shoala” that is based on southeastern Europe. This time around we’ll see plenty of occult horror, which is said to have been boosted by 200% compared to the previous game. The game is actually set in the real-world part we saw in the previous game, and it has a more realistic design to go with it. Those who never played the first game should be able to enjoy the story without any problems. Death end re;Quest 2 is in development for PlayStation 4.
