Damien Urvois, Overseas Business Development Department Head of Idea Factory, recently went to Taiwan to talk about Compile Heart, and to announce that Death end re;Quest will be receiving a Traditional Chinese version in Asia. [Thanks, Bahamut!]

According to Urvois, although Idea Factory releases far too many games for every one of them, he came to Taiwan to announce that future Compile Heart games will have Chinese versions as close to the Japanese release as possible. After gaining success with Death end re;Quest, they will proactively negotiate with the Chinese publisher for these games.

Answering a different question, Urvois said that although Death end re;Quest is a new IP, in order to respond to player requests as Compile Heart has always done, there are plans for sequels for this game.

Death;end re;Quest will release in Japan on April 12, 2018 for PlayStation 4. Previously, we reported on the game’s delay from March 1, 2018, and the apology DLC.
