It’s looking like we will see a Windows PC version of the PS5 game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, just like we did for the original game, as an ESRB rating for it briefly appeared on the evening of November 25, 2025. However, as of 10:30am ET on November 26, 2025, it is now no longer on the rating board’s official site. This could mean that it went live too early ahead of an official announcement. [Thanks, Gematsu and Wario64!]
If you check the ESRB official site, there is only one rating for Death Stranding 2 available at the moment. Checking via the search option only turns up a result for the PS5 version, which launched in June 2025. It also doesn’t show up in the Recently Rated Games section.
Wario64 did take screengrabs of the ESRB website before the rating for the Windows PC version of Death Stranding 2 was pulled. Its rating and description seemed identical to the one for the PS5 release. So it would still be a “Mature” title recommended for folks ages 17 and up due to things like “blood and gore, partial nudity, strong language, and violence.” You can see those images on social media below:
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is available for the PS5 worldwide. A PC version hasn’t been officially announced. However, those kinds of game announcements do tend to come up at events like The Game Awards, which happen next on December 11, 2025.
