A Death Stranding Days Gone crossover has begun. Patch 1.60 for the post-apocalyptic adventure set in the Pacific Northwest and filled with zombie-like Freakers now is filled with BBs. A number of bike parts inspired by the Hideo Kojima games are available as part of a free update, with the most notable part being a tank that looks like the BB container Sam carries around.
Once people download Days Gone update 1.60, which is about 14.7GB, the could unlock the Death Stranding tanks when starting a new game and in a new game plus. The Diamond Lake Mechanic will then carry both a standard Death Stranding tank or a BB tank for Deacon. (The BB tank’s durability is low, but its fuel capacity is high!) All mechanics will carry Death Stranding and BB decals and a BB base.
In addition to the Death Stranding update, other major changes have come to Days Gone. A linear input curve for aiming, a UI high contrast color mode, and the ability to reset Ambush Camps, Hordes, and Infestation Zones are all in the game, alongside some general fixes. The “Black Friday” changes will also make Deacon pay more Freaker ears to buy ammo or get weapons again and reset is leaderboard after the scoring error.
Days Gone is available for the PlayStation 4. Death Stranding is also immediately available for the PlayStation 4 and heading to the PC in 2020.
