Deck Building Roguelike Adventure Hand Of Fate Is Heading To PS4, Xbox One

Defiant Development will be bringing the Kickstarter-funded Hand of Fate to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2015, as well as the previously announced Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Hand of Fate has been highly praised throughout its Early Access phase, especially for how it blends together RPG, roguelike, action adventure, and deck building.

You build up a deck of cards, which then translates into 3D spaces and characters as you attempt to battle through dungeons to, eventually, face the Ace of Skulls.

To get to that end, you’ll need to defeat the Jack, King, and Queen of each suit, but that will require many replays to gather the right equipment, to deal the right cards, and then to put your battling skills to good use.

It was also announced that Battlefield and Payday director David Goldfard has designed original encounters, locations, items, and a story for a hidden optional quest in the game involving bodies without a shadow.

You can currently purchase Hand of Fate on Steam Early Access for Windows, Mac, and Linux at a price of $24.99.
