Spirit Stones is a devilishly-inclined mobile title from Gamevil that channels a little bit of Puzzle & Dragons, Brave Frontier and other games by having players make links of colored blocks to battle dungeon foes.
 
The game is pretty simple on the surface. Players match up gems and form combos, with the same colored gems going to power up same-colored/element characters in your party to unleash attacks with. Do enough of that, and the character gets to lay the smack down on enemies with their special skills or other beneficial effects. What’s cool is that there are powerups scattered around the board, and it’s possible for players to scoop their way past blocks that add effects such as exploding other surrounding blocks.
The player-versus-player looks a lot like what Brave Frontier’s is like, with two teams in an arena duking it out for victory. There are also event raids where you can capture event-specific characters, such as the new Hell Boss raid going on with that female Lucifer-demon.
You’ll be able to take the various creatures and characters and demons and ghouls and whatnots and power them up to each other, or evolve them into more powerful versions.
