Disgaea RPG’s Opening Animation Features Its Many Demon Lords And Series Characters

Nippon Ichi Software’s upcoming Disgaea smartphone game was recently officially titled Disgaea RPG, and we got a look at some of the characters we’ll see in it with a new opening animation.

The game features various protagonists, heroines, and key characters from the Disgaea series. Its story revolves around becoming the best Overlord of all-time, featuring character designs by Takehito Harada and with music by Tenpei Sato.

The battle system is a turn-based system, the first for the series, with everything from cooperative attacks, stacking Tower attacks, and other strategies to take on enemies. It is made to be played with ease so you can play on the go or in short bursts.

The game will let you level up to 9,999 and will let you do billions of damage as we’ve done so far in the series. There are other familiar features such as the “Dark Assembly” used to unlock content, “Item World” to level up weapons, and “Overlord’s Tower” where you’ll climb your way up through battles.

Disgaea RPG is in development for iOS and Android. Pre-registration for the game is now live with a goal of 200,000 to get a ★3 Fallen Angel Flonne for all players.
