Digimon Pendulum, the second in the series of the Digimon Virtual Pet line is getting a 20th anniversary edition similar to the Digital Monster Ver. 20th that released earlier this year. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]
Like the Digital Monster Ver. 20th that released in celebration of the series’ 20th anniversary, the Digimon Pendulum Ver. 20th will come in two color variants. The “Silver Black” version will contain Digimon from the Nature Spirits, Nightmare Soldiers, and Metal Empire lines. The “Silver Blue” version features “Deep Savers,” “Wind Guardians,” and “Virus Busters.”
With the addition of new Digimon, both versions combine for over 200 Digimon total.
The top image shows one of the other colors from the series, but the 20th anniversary edition should look something like the ones in the above image if we go by the color names.
If it’s anything like the Digital Monster Ver. 20th, we can expect to see its increased speed for raising Digimon, a tag-team system, and other new features like the D-1 Grand Prix. We’ll have more information when Bandai Namco provides additional details.
Digimon Pendulum Ver. 20th is expected to release in Japan in June 2018 for 3,700 yen.
